Sad news coming out of Florida that comedian Leslie Nielsen has succumbed to pneumonia at the age of 84. Nielsen was one of the greatest masters of deadpan comedy in cinema history, and was most famous for his appearances in parody classics like “Airplane!”, “The Naked Truth” and its two sequels. Nielsen kept working into his 80’s, staying loyal to the parody genre despite his opportunities devolving into the “Scary Movie” franchise and its ilk. He will be missed.
